As reported by the National Police this Sunday in a press release, the 'Green Master' operation, developed by Group II UDYCO-Police Narcotics, has allowed the arrest of the main suspected of supplying marijuana to drug sales points in La Soledad, in Palma.The man, owner of several agricultural equipment stores established in the city of Palma, set off the alarm in the narcotics unit when he was detected making contact with drug trafficking suspects based in the La Soledad neighborhood of Palma.The agents of Group II of the UDYCO, with the collaboration of the Local Police of Palma, carried out an investigation in which evidence and indications were collected regarding the alleged participation of said person in a crime against public health in Palma.
In addition, agents of the National Police managed to find out, through efforts, that there were two properties of interest in the towns of Vilafranca and Bunyola. In both houses, the investigator had established marijuana production centers as well as rooms for the Country Email List treatment and dosage of marijuana packages that would supply drug sales points.Once the safe houses were located, the officials focused on the possible recipients of the drug packages, checking how the individual made periodic trips to both Manacor and the La Soledad neighborhood of Palma.With all the locations of interest for the investigation focused and the suspect's 'modus operandi' fully identified, agents from the National Police of Palma and Manacor designed an operation to intercept the subject in one of the drug transfers.
Once arrested, and after giving a statement, the investigated properties were searched with definitive results for the accusation of a crime of continued drug trafficking. Thus, infrastructure for the cyclical production of marijuana was eliminated, a plantation with more than 250 plants in the last phase of flowering as well as 15 kilograms of marijuana in perfectly packaged buds.During one of the home searches, the anti-drug trafficking agents found the system used by the detainee to avoid police action: perfectly closed packages of animal food inside which were bags of marijuana weighing approximately one kilogram.The agents estimate that the man's production capacity would allow for an uninterrupted supply to several drug sales points for months.
