An Epic is a large piece of work that can be broken down into smaller stories. It can be distributed over multiple Sprints and is a high-level description of what the client wants. A classic example is the development of a website . Let's say this is a very long project, the Epic -in this case- will include a series of User Stories such as the development of the pages, graphics and other fundamental elements to its realization. User Stories are therefore short and simple descriptions of a feature told from the point of view of the person who wants it, usually a user or a client.
