The classic Genius toy, an icon of the 80s, is back! In partnership with Estrela, TIM is relaunching the game in an innovative version that eliminates the use of batteries.
The new edition of the toy is powered by a smartphone, which is “stored” during play.

The return of an 80s classic
Genius , originally released in 1978, marked generations in the 80s with its mesmerizing lights and sounds .
The objective was always simple, but challenging: to memorize and repeat the sequences of colors and sounds displayed by the toy.

Now, in 2024, Genius returns with a renewed proposal, but without losing its nostalgic essence.

TIM , in partnership with toy manufacturer Estrela , has brought a modernized version of the classic game. Unlike previous versions, the new edition does not use batteries and requires a smartphone to work.
The device is fitted into a side drawer in the toy, and the cell phone battery becomes the main source of energy.
According to Camila Ribeiro , TIM's Communication and Brand Director, the purpose of the relaunch is to show that the cell phone, although essential, can be reinterpreted.
