I have very busy days at the moment, but I don't forget you! Here is a project called “YO-YO Typography”! It's actually a video created by Marianna Ludensky and Justin Weber , two artists who decided to make their alphabet all in yoyos! What is funny is that we find a certain grid in the drawing of the letters even if it is only a piece of wire surrounded at the end of a cylinder (roughly). When is the typo bilboquet? Just for information : The “Garonne” project is initially an experiment on the visual identity of the Town Hall of Toulouse offering a broader reflection on the identity of public institutions in France and Europe, in particular regional cities. The bias of the project is to refuse to consider the question of visual identity as the simple drawing of a frozen image to be duplicated on different supports and to consider the typographic response as an organic tool of superior efficiency. The character created offers a strong visual signature, the “image-word” as an identity, ie a logotype to be written. These are 55 panels that are displayed in the street to raise awareness and expose these beautiful letters to the inhabitants of Toulouse.
